Red Bull Tlang Ruam: Delivered Fiber Infrastructure for Complete Broadcasting Setup - 8th November 2025

Red Bull Tlang Ruam 2025 – Overhead Fiber Infrastructure for Live Broadcasting

Red Bull Tlang Ruam is India’s first urban downhill mountain biking event. taking place in Aizawl – will give an opportunity to downhill bike riders to showcase their talent to a global audience.

Yash Infosystems delivered Fiber Infrastructure for Complete Broadcasting Setup

Yash Infosystems was entrusted with the complete overhead fiber infrastructure deployment for live broadcasting at Red Bull Tlang Ruam 2025. The project involved end-to-end internal connectivity for a 24-camera HD broadcast setup, PCR drone integration, uplinks for LED and audio systems, and continuous on-ground technical support in a geographically challenging hill terrain.

Key Challenges

  • Challenging Mountain Terrain: Installing 24-core fiber optic cable overhead across mountainous terrain in Aizawl required careful planning, structural assessment, and safe execution due to elevation changes and limited access points.
  • Restricted Working Hours: Installation activities were limited to early morning hours and before 5:00 PM, significantly reducing daily execution windows.
  • Logistics & Material Movement: Transporting fiber cables, electrical material, and broadcast equipment to a remote hill location involved complex coordination and dependency on local conditions.
  • Team Deployment & Safety: Mobilizing skilled manpower, ensuring timely site access, and maintaining safety standards while working at height added to operational complexity.

Solution Delivered

  • Designed a robust overhead fiber routing plan optimized for terrain, elevation, and broadcast signal stability.
  • Executed overhead laying of 24-core fiber optic cabling across the rideway, ensuring secure mounting and minimal signal loss.
  • Integrated PCR drone connectivity via fiber, enabling real-time, low-latency transmission.
  • Delivered electrical cabling and uplink connectivity for broadcast cameras, LED walls, and audio systems.
  • Adopted a phased execution strategy aligned with restricted working hours to maximize efficiency.
  • Provided continuous on-ground technical support, testing, and monitoring throughout the event lifecycle.

Outcome

  • Achieved uninterrupted live broadcasting across all event days despite terrain and time constraints.
  • Ensured stable, high-quality transmission for 24 broadcast cameras, drone feeds, LED systems, and audio infrastructure.
  • Successfully completed the project within defined timelines under challenging environmental and logistical conditions.
  • Demonstrated Yash Infosystems’ capability to deliver complex overhead fiber and broadcast infrastructure solutions in difficult locations.
